What we can help with
Most of the questions we receive are about estimating: how to price a repair from listing photos, how big a contingency to carry on a flood or theft-recovery car, or how the Copart and IAA fee stacks change the real cost of a bid. We are glad to point you to the right guide or calculator for your situation, and if a question keeps coming up we usually turn the answer into a new article.
What we cannot do is tell you what a specific car will cost to fix or whether a specific bid is a good idea. We have not seen the car, and honest estimating does not work by long distance guesswork.
